With the phone and headset, clients could peer into buildings deemed to dangerous to enter
The township of Charters Towers draws in thousands of tourists with it’s rich WW2 history, but for tour operator Erica Finlay it was frustrating being unable to show the inside of beautiful old buildings deemed to risky to enter.
She approached AnueX for help and the solution was for clients to peer inside the buildings using augmented reality. She was supplied with 10 mobile phones and headsets with a customised app that allowed clients to look “inside” the buildings as they were after the war.
